Bulk upload

You can import and export sizeable volumes of your data into Green Story using the Bulk Operations feature. By uploading the required information in CSV format, you can import product information, supplier information, material information etc at once.

Performing an operation: Select the module for which you are performing the bulk operation by clicking on "bulk upload" option and follow the steps on the screen for each form.

Below is a general overview of the steps required to carry out bulk operations:

Download the sample template and fill in respective data in the sample template for your products

Upload or drag and drop the filled template - The CSV that you upload should be in the format provided by the system

Map the columns from the uploaded template to the system accepted column

Click on Next

The system will process the uploaded file and show applicable errors for each record. You can amend the errors and allow the system to validate the file by clicking on submit.

The validation time depends on the number of records that need to be processed.

You can go to a different tab and come back to this page later. Once the validation is complete, you will be notified via email. The email will contain a summary of the successful and failed records.

To view the document of the records you can navigate to the “import and export” option under the settings tab and look for the file name under the operation logs tab.
